Bravo, Representative Anthony Weiner (D- Brooklyn, Queens)!

Watch him get pissed off here and then explain why here. I think Republican behavior lately is disgraceful, immoral, and stupid, and
it´s nice to see someone calling them out on it.

  1. You need to take off your "liberal colored glasses" for minute and look at your fellow Democrats. Can you see Reps. Charles Rangel of New York and Maxine Waters of California. How is that "Drain the swamp we did, because this was a terrible place," by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, working !!!

  4. Hilarious that voting against Democrats is immoral. How's that war in Afghanistan going?

  5. I´m not defending anyone accused of corruption, nor am I contending that all Democrats are angels, but the current Republican tactic of voting against *everything* Democrats propose, regardless of its merits, is worse than childish. It´s immoral. It´s an attempt to destroy the country out of some third grade desire to ¨win.¨ How do you justify extending the tax cuts for the very rich while letting unemployment benefits expire? How do you explain trying to legislate who people are allowed to love/visit in the hospital/ have a family with, based on your beliefs about an imaginary man in the sky?

I know many of you don´t like the political bits of my blog, but at some point you have to stand up for what you believe in.

Also, what´s ¨it´s chess¨ supposed to mean? Politics is fair? Commenting is a zero sum game? I am rubber and you are glue?

  6. I think that 5 Republicans voted for Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan. She would not have been confirmed if it were not for the Republicans votes. Now, are you big enough to apologize to Republicans for your blanket mischaracterization.

  7. Only 5 Republicans voted for Kagan. What a joke. Anon 9:47--You should be the one apologizing for your party's pathetic tactics. Republicans suck.

  9. what i meant by "chess" is that this site was about chess + "gossip" not a bash the conservatives site. I understand that I visit the site voluntarily and can choose to not visit a freedom of action that liberals deny to those that take a different opinion.

Paying taxes is part of being a citizen. But hey, if you feel like that's too much of an imposition on you, I invite you to renounce your citizenship and leave the country any time you want to.
