Justus lost game three and drew game four of his match with Andrei Zaremba, to finish with 1.5/4.
I forgot my camera battery, so I don't have any pictures for you. Also I'm really tired and can't believe I have to be at work in 10 hours. but soon I have a bunch more positions to show you, plus a two round comedic tale of outrageously inappropriate draw offers by a certain very talented dumbass.

Nice finish!

Earlier in the game, I wonder whether 28. h5 might be preferable to b4. Black's K is weak - why not attack it, rather than open up the Q-side - where not much is happening - for Black's rook?

Cool blog you got here. I'd like to read more concerning that theme.

I just glanced over the early entries to the K12 Nationals in Dallas. IS318 looks like a lock to win the 6th grade division. Are there any other schools that could compete in the 6th grade section (in your opinion)?

I've noticed that kids will often offer a draw from a lost position - are their coaches teaching them to do that? I hope not, because I consider it to be poor sportsmanship.

Hmmmm...I wonder if being "very talented" is sufficient compensation for being considered a "dumbass." I guess it really depends on whether the package comes with "killer good looks."
