Hmm, you're something like 35 years old. Many people would think that leading a group of junior high school children to a national championship in ANYTHING would be the crowning achievement of a lifetime.

Ah! Both you and your team should be very proud. This amazing victory is the result of years of hard work, as attested by many posts on this blog that gave us a peek into the accomplishments you and the kids were building.
and: this makes me think: what happens to these kids when they go to high school? Any idea why 318 is not the feeder school for the perpetual HS champs? :-)
Not a new question/issue, by the way -- it was the same with Vaux and Franklin schools in Philadelphia ~30 years ago.

They go to many high schools, generally, but we are developing a "relationship" with Murrow (where Alexis, Shawn, Azeez, Markel, go, and next year Jorge, James Black, Jamye, and some more people I forget, will go) and with NEST-M(atan!) (where Isaac and I think someone else will go)

I told you a year ago that you are going to be a huge favorite this year, but you did not believe me that time :-)).
