ST. LOUIS, Nov. 9, 2009 -- The Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis has hired Grandmaster (GM) Ben Finegold as its first GM-in-residence. As GM-in-residence, Finegold will give weekly lectures, provide lessons to members and others, teach summer camps and work with the club’s scholastic program.
Finegold is expected to start shortly after New Year’s. The Detroit native, who now lives in Ann Arbor, Mich., will move to St. Louis to work at the club full time.

I really enjoyed Ben's commentary during the US women's championship and applaud the St Louis Chess Club on their nonstop good taste.

Yeah, when will the tasteless sexploitation of male chess players come to an end? It really is quite degrading.
Are there more photos, and will the resulting scandal cause Ben to lose his appointment as GM-in-Residence?
This is indeed very shameful. Didn't the photographer realize that any piece/object that can stand is liable to be considered phallic with all associated sexual connotations.
When will we learn to appreciate inner beauty and innate skills and when will all the sexploitation of players end?
