family photos and DDR

my sister Rachel (left) and me
My dad (visiting from England), playing Aleem at a neighborhood fair. Myles is watching.

I ordered Dance Dance Revolution last night. It is going to be my new fitness routine. I am really terrible at it, but that will change.

Your dad looks like Eric Clapton.

I love seeing these east coast parks. The concept of adults hanging out at a park is so cool and so unheard of on the west coast.

You always have very nice pictures on your blog. Do you edit them, before posting?

"Your dad looks like Eric Clapton."

Maybe her dad is older hence was around first and Eric Clapton looks like him.

John,
"The concept of adults hanging out at a park is so cool and so unheard of on the west coast." That seems strangely counter intuitive since you have much less severe winters & a lot more space for parks. Maybe all the adults are off at a National Park or Disnyland.
Rachel & Elizabeth engulfed by an ocean of tree blooms in an absolutely fantastic image. You look great (as usual).

It looks like Elizabeth's dad knows his way around a chessboard. It also looks like he is kindly taking it easy on Elizabeth's beginning student.

Parks are nice. What I often find hard to find, though, are those three or four-foot high walls standing by themselves, to rest my elbows on and ponder. The kind Charlie Brown used to frequent, or Ernie of Sesame Street.
