pesky geese




A US Airways plane just crashed into the Hudson because it hit a flock of geese? More here. Everyone was safe (!), but I imagine it's a brutally cold day to be in the river ....

The one good thing to come out of this is that after the crisis, everyone (by current reports) actually stayed pretty calm and helped each other.

Lately we've seen too many examples of dangerous public behavior (remember Xmas Walmart mayhem at opening time) but here was a decent example.
